Our Water Garden
When we purchased our house it had a large ceramic urn in the back yard with a water pump and 2 goldfish.
We lost one of them earlier this year so now we are down to one. Bummer.
We dropped in some water lilies and have had some beauties pop up.
That flower lasted only a couple of days. Earlier this week I had another one pop up that looked pretty much identical. So either the same plant gave me two lilies or I bought a mislabeled one. Bummer I didn't get the variety I was hoping for. This one is also gone now - they disappear shortly after they get pollinated and the bees have been busy lately!
In the next few months I imagine I'll be bringing them up for the winter. Hopefully next year we'll get more flowers.
