Strawberries and Herbs

I decided I would like to get a strawberry planter but I didn't want it for strawberries, I wanted it for herbs. However I still wanted to grow strawberries so i had to get a separate container for that. Backwards, I know, but it worked! However next year I plan on planting my herbs in more generous sized containers so they aren't so constricted. It was a fun first-go experiment though.

Here are the strawberries! One of my coworkers was kind enough to bring me 5 of her plants and wished me luck. They did pretty well.
And here is the strawberry planter growing herbs. I planted both of these containers at the same time.
Here is a breakdown of the herbs I planted in the container:
Golden Thyme

Peppermint
Pineapple Mint

Purple Sage
oregano variegated
Pineapple Sage
Catnip (for the kitties, of course)
And now here are some updated pictures of these containers
This most recent pic shows the herbs (particularly the catnip) nearing the end of their happy season
And while my strawberry plants look pretty, I don't think they appreciated the unseasonably cool weather we had that had the bees coming out a bit late. Consequently this is what ALL my berries looked like:
Yup. Baboon Butts. ALL my strawberries grew in looking like baboon butts.  Awesome.
